Amanda Austin is an Australian Photographer, Producer and Creative Director residing in the United States and working globally.
Amanda's professional photography career spans well over a decade. Her work - ranging from portraiture, fashion, beauty, culture, travel and landscape - can be easily recognised and defined by a unique sensitivity to the world the around her and an ability to draw authenticity, intimacy and spontaneity from her subjects.
Travelling the world with an old film camera gave Amanda’s work a freedom to develop before professional photography become her calling. Amanda’s original vision and astute eye for imagery was fast recognized and her first curated folio of travel and portraiture won her a year scholarship to Photographic Imaging College, Melbourne, in 2004 and begun what has now been a 15 year creative career as a photographer, publisher and media producer.
From portraiture, fashion, travel, creative direction, still or moving image; personal or commissioned, Amanda’s creativity and work ethic is driven by an authentic connection to her subjects, the world around her, and a genuine love of storytelling.
