Biography
Amanda's photography and media production career spans well over a decade. Her work - ranging from Portraiture, Fashion, Beauty, Culture, Travel and Landscape - can be easily defined by a unique sensitivity to the world around her, and an ability to draw authenticity, intimacy, and spontaneity from her subjects.
Traveling the world with an old film camera gave Amanda’s work a freedom to develop before professional photography become her calling. Her unique vision was recognized through her first curated travel and portraiture folio, which won her a scholarship to Australia’s Photographic Imaging College in Melbourne, and begun what has now been a 15 year strong career as a Photographer, Videographer, Publisher and Creative Media Producer.
Amanda is the co-Founder of IRIS Magazine a fashion, art and culture publication, and was the Editor and Creative Director of pilot editoion Issue ONE, Origins which launched in 2017.
From - portraiture, fashion, art, music, culture, travel, creative direction, still or moving image, personal or commissioned; Amanda’s creativity and work ethic is driven by an authentic connection to her subjects, inspiration from the ever evolving world around her, and a genuine love of storytelling.
